[εις επαινον δοξης αυτου] New comment on Feeding on Words.
Chris Trampel has left a new comment on your post "Feeding on Words":
Matt,
I just finished the Narnian and also found it enjoyable, if a bit stilted. I like Alan Jacobs but wonder if he takes himself a bit too seriously. Anyhow, he's certainly written a very careful and scholarly book. I knew nothing of Lewis' relationship with "Minto" before reading it-astonishing. I was disappointed that Jacobs didn't include more criticism of Lewis' books themselves. The material from Till We Have faces on the limits of language was a highlight for me as well. I know there is some good material on religious language out there by I haven't gotten to it yet.
