[εις επαινον δοξης αυτου] New comment on Nietzsche Misunderstood.
Matthew LaPine has left a new comment on your post "Nietzsche Misunderstood":
Well, I'm certainly not agreeing with Nietzsche. But I think it is important to take him at his own terms. We may argue that it is impossible to square meaningful life with atheism, but that doesn't mean he can't claim to do so. I'm merely pointing out what his claim is. Also, you're certainly not alone in suggesting that Nietzsche is inconsistent. I just listened to an Oxford lecture where the lecturer tried to square his claim of universal "yes" with his harsh criticisms of ("no's") Christianity. At any rate, I think our job is to point out why it is inconsistent for Nietzsche to claim what he does.
